Cooking Tenders
Achieving the perfect chicken tenders requires a balance of flavor, crispiness, and juiciness.

Wet Marinade
Marinating the chicken tenders for at least 30 minutes before cooking can infuse them with additional flavor. That is what we are doing with this recipe, putting them in a wet marinade for 30 minutes.
Cooking Technique
For this recipe, we like to grill. They can be baked easily too. Simply use a sheet pan and the oven, toaster oven or air fryer.
The “Wing” Dip
Pair your chicken tenders with an array of dipping sauces. With this recipe we think a nice ranch-style sauces works great.

Ingredients
- 12 chicken tenders
- ¾ cup hot sauce
- ¾ cup Sticky Sweet Brown Sugar sauce
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Sweet Heat seasoning
- 1/4 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp water
Instructions
Marinade
- Place both sauces, 1/2 tsp of Sweet Heat seasoning and butter in a medium pot (big enough for all the chicken and sauce).
- Warm the mixture slightly just to melt the butter.
- Place ½ cup of the mixture in a bowl and cool for 10 minutes or so until it is no longer warm.
- Add chicken and toss to combine.
- Let sit for 30 minutes to marinate.
Grill or Sauté
- Preheat the grill on medium.
- Place tenders on the grill.
- Discard the marinade liquid.
- Close the lid and cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip the tenders over.
- Baste the chicken from the remaining buttery sauce (not the marinade).
- Close the lid and cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip the chicken over and baste the second side.
- Cook for another 3 minutes or until the chicken is barely floppy and not rigid.
The Dip
- Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, water and 1/2 remaining 1/2 tsp of Sweet Heat in a bowl.
- Dip and enjoy!
