This hearty spiced soup gets a mild smoky flavor from the sausage. Feel free to substitute bacon or just use plain leftover chicken or turkey.

Ingredients
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 link Smoked Turkey Polish Sausage or other flavorful sausage, diced
- 1 large russet potato, diced
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 3 cups milk
- 3 Tbsp Sauce Goddess Sweet Heat
- 1 pkg frozen corn
- 1 Tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a large soup pot saute onions and peppers with olive oil for 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Add garlic, cook 2 minutes.
- Add sausage, cook 5 minutes.
- Add chicken stock, potato and Sweet Heat Spices.
- Cook for 30 minutes until the potatoes are fork tender.
- Add corn and milk.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Stir in butter to finish the soup.
- Serve hot.
