Smoked Turkey Chili

This tangy chili recipe is chock full of veggies and flavor! Great with turkey, chicken or your favorite meat substitute.

  • 2 cups smoked turkey, diced (you can use regular turkey or chicken too)
  • ½ cup zucchini, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 bunch green onion, diced
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 1 can black beans
  • 2 - 13 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Latin Heat spice rub
  • 1 jar Big & Tangy Sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Vegetable oil for sauté
  • Salt to taste

  1. Sauté all veggies except corn and tomatoes until slightly cooked.
  2. Add Latin Heat spice.
  3. Add chicken broth.
  4. Continue to simmer. Taste for salt.
  5. Add black beans, tomatoes, and Big & Tangy sauce.
  6. Add turkey and corn.
  7. Simmer 1 hour.
  8. Serve with cheese, sour cream, jalapenos or all three on top.

Prep Time: 20 minutes - Cook Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes ; Yield: 6 servings

Sticky Sweet BBQ Turkey Melts

Try this leftover turkey inspired creation instead next time you are craving a grilled cheese. We've been making this recipe for so long we've got an old school picture of our very first sauce.

  • 4-6 slices of bacon (cooked)
  • 1 cup of Sauce Goddess Sticky Sweet Grillin Dippin
  • 2 cups of chopped turkey
  • Small amount of butter
  • 4 slices of your favorite sandwich bread
  • 1 sliced medium tomato
  • Several slices of your favorite cheese

  1. Chop up cooked bacon slices.
  2. Mix Sticky Sweet sauce with chopped turkey.
  3. Combine BBQ turkey with bacon in sauce pan and cook on low about 10 minutes.
  4. Butter one side each of two pieces of sandwich bread.
  5. On non-buttered side of one piece of bread layer BBQ turkey, tomato and cheese then top with other piece of bread with butter side facing out.
  6. Cook in a skillet, grill pan, or Panini press until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Prep Time: 10 minutes - Cook Time: 25 minutes ; Yield: 2 servings
