SAUCE GODDESS CRANKS UP THE HEAT AND FLAVOR,

SO GET SKINNY WITH SPICY FOODS!

San Diego, CA – Find out if you can handle the flavor and sizzle of the Sauce Goddess’ hottest and sauciest creation featuring Red Savina Habanero peppers, one of the hottest peppers in the world.  It is all natural, gluten-free, contains no additives or preservatives, and vegan.  “It seems you watch the food news lately and everything is becoming spicy.” states Sauce Goddess President, Jennifer Reynolds. “I love the flavors of some of the super hot chilis. Heat for heat alone is too much, so I like creating flavor and lots of spice. I also like spicy peppers because of their health properties.”

Peppers contain capsaicin. The more capsaicin the hotter and healthier the pepper.  Capsaicin has been know to release endorphins, improve digestion, rev up your metabolism, increase circulation, reduce high blood pressure and act as an anti-oxidant.  Some studies claim hot peppers can protect against some kinds of cancer.

The heat of the pepper is related to it’s capsaicin and measured in Scoville Heat Units (SHUs).  As a referece, jalapenos have an average of 5000 SHUs.  “Recently an associate of mine, Ed Currie from PuckerButt Pepper Company, set the new Guiness World Record for the hottest chili pepper, the Carolina Reaper.  It tops out at over 2 million SHUs.  That’s a ton of heat!. The Red Savina Habanero we use in Sweet Red Devil is a fairly tame 450,000 SHUs. We figure everyone could eat good tasting fairly spicy food to get happy and healthy.  So, eat lots of “Sweet Red Devil Sauce!” encourages Reynolds.

Sweet Red Devil Sauce is milder than some of the crazy hot sauces out there because it’s sweetened with cane juice,  Some of our favorite recipes use it for grilling, marinating shrimp, as a wing sauce, dipping potstickers or as a spicy condiment.  It’s the perfect sauce for spicy food lovers.
