Unwrap Joy: The Ultimate Gift Guide for any time of year

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the delightful task of finding the perfect gifts for our loved ones. Whether you’re shopping for family, friends, or colleagues, our curated holiday gift guide is here to help you navigate the world of thoughtful, meaningful and helpful presents. We’ve scoured the market to bring you a selection of our favorite items that we use every day.

Here’s the thing, these gifts are great for giving all year long. Of course, we have plenty of Sauce Goddess gifts in our gift packs section of our shop. Some ship in our Red Obscenely Delicious gift box and shipping is included in the price. Some ship in a plain brown box so you can gussy it up all on your own.

Here are our favorites.

Tools we love and use all the time

Scanpan: These fry pans and sauté pans are a great non-stick skillet made with recycled aluminum and no PFOAs. You can also use metal utensils.

Weber Grills: We love the small footprint of the E210 model that fits well in any space. The side “tables” fold down too. It’s not just a small footprint grill, it can cook. It’s 500 degrees within around 5-6 minutes of lighting.

Nordicware: A sheet pan is a simple tool and you want to get it right. We use them all the time. It has to be rigid and not buckle under the weight of a lot of food.

BBQ Tongs and Spatula: To buy the best BBQ Spatula and BBQ tongs, we like OXO. The feel of them in your hand is good. We really like the style of the tongs.

Wüsthof knives: Don’t take shortcuts with your knives Yes, we’re being funny and this is serious. The better the knife, the longer it lasts. Spend a little extra if you can and only buy one or two good knives.

Knife Sharpener: To keep your knife sharp is to keep it fast and easy to use. The sharper your knife, the safer it is to use. Dull knives bounce off the object you are cutting and can cut you.

Le Creuset: The best cast iron dutch oven you can buy. This is a fave item for several of us on the Sauce Goddess team. They are built to last and you’ll only have to buy one.

Cuisinart Food Processor: We can’t say enough about the uses for a food processor in general. Cuisinart makes a tool built to puree and dice and slice. Easily make hummus, paté, mayonnaise, coleslaw and chopped nuts, to name a few.

Kitchenaid: I’ve had a Kitchenaid stand mixer for years. I love it for cookies when the butter isn’t softened enough. I’ve got the meat grinder and sausage stuffing attachment too. It’s a tool I can’t live without.

Meat Thermometer: We like this model of meat thermometer because it also has an oven temp and oven timer built in. There are also now versions of this that you can set up on your phone with a remote probe. We haven’t tried them yet though, so the jury is still out.

Books with recipe and lessons for us all

The Barbeque! Bible by Steven Raichlin: We love the details Steven provides in all his recipes. His love of food is apparent and of course, we LOVE that.

Joy of Cooking: It was my first cookbook and it’s one I always turn to in a pinch. It’s got great history and details and easy to follow recipes.

Gourmet Food Companies We Love

Bravado Spice Co: Great-tasting hot sauces. Their ingredients are just real food, just like ours.

Clamlube Hot Sauce: Fun flavor combinations, even funnier product names.

Sauce Goddess Funny Merch

Make America Grill Again Hats: So inappropriate it’s funny. Let’s just grill.

Show Off Your Meat shirt: Get your mind back on food. It’s all about how good the meat tastes when it’s not covered up by yucky flavorings and additives.

Let Me Lick Your Fingers shirt: Our company motto is “If you don’t lick your fingers, someone else will.” And the Let me lick your fingers shirt was born.

We think you’ll love our ideas. Having the right tools can make cooking so much easier.
