SAUCE GODDESS NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS

WINTER FANCY FOOD SHOW 2014

San Francisco, CASauce Goddess has been working on some new products that will be available at the 2014 Winter Fancy Food Show. Come check out the delicious new offerings from Sauce Goddess at the Savor California booth at the Winter Fancy Food Show. Booth 504, North Hall.

Spice rubs now available in small shakers. All four flavors of our original spice blends previously available only in tins, pouches and food service sizes will now be available in a consumer size shaker.

“There are two main reasons we’re adding small shakers.” says Jennifer Reynolds, owner of Sauce Goddess. ”We needed a way to offer the consumer a better value for our spice blends and the small shakers reduce the packaging cost which can be passed on to the consumer. Feedback from our customers told us that a shaker would be a better way to use the product at home. It’s simply easier to use than a tin with your hands or a spoon.”

Sauce Goddess spices rubs are all natural, free of any preservatives, MSG or anti-caking additives. “It’s important for us to not change the award winning recipe of Sweet Heat, which means it might cake in the shaker. The brown sugar makes it clump so loosening it up with a fork every now and then should overcome the problem. Keeping in line with our healthy values we don’t want to add anti-caking ingredients. “I think it’s weird that we add silicone dioxide to our food anyway. That’s sand. Who wants to eat sand?” opines Reynolds.

New Competition Mop Sauce. This new sauce has won awards in barbecue competitions throughout the west coast and has been available on a limited basis at special events. After many requests to make it a regular item we are launching it at this show. It contains no smoke with a nice thin mop style consistency sure to make splash with consumers.

“This sauce is something I created on the competition barbecue circuit a few years back. We needed a great sauce for slow smoking and our Sticky Sweet was a little thick for continuous application hour after hour.” explains Reynolds. “We thinned it out with some apple cider vinegar and the Mop Sauce was born. I’ve been testing it on consumers for the past year. I can see it becoming our number one seller by the end of the year.”
