Chicken Wing Dip

It doesn’t get much easier than this Sauce Goddess version of Chicken Wing Dip. It’s got a wonderful BBQ flavor with than yummy blue cheese. Positively addictive.

Chicken Wing Dip


  1. Place all ingredients in food processor and puree.
  2. Adjust thickness by adding either more sauce or cheese.
  3. Dip with celery sticks or chips.

Prep Time: 30 minutes ; Yield: 4 cups

2014 October Gluten Free Update

We’ve been busy in the kitchen cooking up some gluten free recipes that everyone will enjoy and wanted to share those with you before our next newsletter, so we sent a special newsletter update out. Asian Sticky Sweet Wings

This easy recipe uses 2 gluten free sauces to create gooey sticky asian chicken wings. The hoisin gives a really deep toasty flavor. These are not spicy.

Asian Sticky Sweet Chicken Wings


  1. Mix both sauces together.
  2. Pour 1/2 the mixture over the wings.
  3. Marinade for 2 hours.
  4. Bake at 375 in the oven on a wire rack for 1 hour or cooked completely through.
  5. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan on the stove for 5 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Sprinkle seeds over wings when serving.

Prep Time: 2 hours, 20 minutes - Cook Time: 1 hour ; Yield: 2 lbs

Sweet Red Devil Wings

This wing recipe is quick and easy! Grill, sauce, dip, enjoy. We really like Point Reyes Blue Cheese dressing as a dip.

This wing recipe is quick and easy!



  1. Grill wings to 165 degrees (use largest wing for temperature reading), baste with Sweet Red Devil Sauce, and continue grilling until crispy.
  2. You might want some blue cheese or ranch dressing with these because they are spicy! Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese Dressing is a favorite of ours.

Moroccan Twist Wings with Apricot Glaze

Wings with a sweet and exotic spiced twist. B & R Farms makes a delicious apricot preserve that is perfect for this recipe.

Moroccan Twist Wings with Apricot Glaze


    Wings
  1. Preheat your oven 350 degrees or grill (medium).
  2. Toss 4 lbs wings in Moroccan Twist spice rub.
  3. Cook until done to 165 degrees. Pick the biggest wing and measure the temperature.
    Glaze
  1. In a bowl large enough to fit the wings, whisk together Apricot Preserves, rice vinegar and Moroccan Twist.
  2. When the wings are cooked place them in the bowl of glaze, and either stir and serve, or return to the grill to caramelize the glaze.

B & R Farms makes an Apricot Topping that is perfect for this recipe.

Spicy Sesame Hot Wings

Courtesy of Megan Barnett, of the now closed Great News Cookware and Cooking School in San Diego.  Such a loss to folks who loved to shop for cookware, gadgets and go to cooking classes. This recipe is a great addition to your traditional line-up of hot wings.


  • 28 chicken drumettes or wings
  • 1 1/2 cups of Sauce Goddess Spicy Grillin'
  • 2 Tbsp Sriracha Chili Sauce (spicy chili garlic sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp pure toasted sesame oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup minced green onion

    Prep
  1. In a bowl combine the Spicy Grillin' sauce, Sriracha Sauce and sesame oil, whisking until smooth.
  2. Remove half cup of the sauce and set aside for basting.
  3. Place chicken drumettes in a large zip lock bag and pour the remaining sauce over them.
  4. Seal the bag and lightly toss wings making sure they are covered with sauce and refrigerate overnight.
    Cooking
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper and lightly oil the pan with vegetable oil.
  3. Remove the drumettes from the marinade and spread them out on the lined sheet.
  4. Place the pan in the oven and roast for 45 minutes or until cooked through basting occasionally with reserve marinade.
  5. Remove the wings from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion.

Prep Time: 20 minutes - Cook Time: 45 minutes ; Yield: 4-5 servings

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings

Well it’s wings, pretty straight forward, sweet, spicy delicious bites you tear off the bone with your teeth. Gooey spicy fingers, lick away, no one is looking.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place wings in a bowl and toss with BBQ Sweet Heat Rub.
  3. Place wings on cookie sheet or roasting pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until done.
    For Dry Wings
  1. Remove from oven and serve with your favorite wing dipping sauce.
    For Wet Wings
  1. Pour the Sweet and Spicy Grill Glaze over top and stir to coat. Return to oven for an additional 10 minutes. These sticky sweet wings can be served with or without your favorite wing dipping sauce.
    On the Grill:
  1. This same recipe can be used on the grill with adjusted cooking times depending on the intensity of the heat.

This recipe can be used with traditional chicken wings or chicken tenders for a great party snack.

- Cook Time: 40 minutes ; Yield: 6-8 servings
